The Bad Homburg Falken were a German American football club from Bad Homburg vor der Höhe in Hesse .

history

The Falken were founded in 1980, and many of the founding members came from the previously founded Neu-Isenburg Adler association. Between 1981 and 1993, the Falcons belonged to the top division, with the exception of the 1983 season. Their best time was between 1988 and 1992, when they could once win their season and reach the play-offs for the German Bowl . In 1990, after victories at the Munich Rangers (31:17) and the Badener Greifs (41:17), they made it to the semi-finals, where they were defeated by the eventual champions Berlin Adler with 31:52. In the 1993 season , the team's rapid relegation began, in the previous year still in the play-offs, the Falcons only won three games and were relegated to the bottom of the table in the second division. There they only managed one victory and had to accept relegation again. Before the 1995 season, the Bad Homburg Falcons withdrew from the game.

In 2015, another American football club was founded in Bad Homburg with the AFC Bad Homburg Sentinels .
