HD 82943 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 82943 every 219.5 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Michel Mayor et al. discovered in 2000 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.752 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 575.4 Earth masses or 1.81 Jupiter masses.
