history

Club coat of arms as HNK Ljubuški (1994-2007)

The club was founded in 1937 under the name Ljubuški omladinski športski klub (Youth Sports Club Ljubuški), but the game was stopped shortly after the outbreak of World War II . In 1947 the association was re-established under the name Udarnik and renamed Sloga in 1952 . In 1994 the club finally took on the name HNK Ljubuški and a Croatian-nationally colored club crest.

The club's only two title successes date from 1995 and 1996, when they won the Herceg-Bosna Cup twice in a row . In the summer of 2007, after a series of relegations, the game was finally stopped for the second time in the club's history. In the summer of 2009, the club resumed its gaming operations under the name NK Sloga Ljubuški.
