First League of Herceg-Bosna
The First League of Herceg-Bosna ( Croatian Prva nogometna liga Herceg-Bosne ) was from 1993 to 2000 the top division in club football in the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna . It was introduced by the Football Association of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna ( Nogometni savez Hrvatske Republike Herceg-Bosne ).
The clubs in this league did not take part in international competitions for a long time, as the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina only recognized this league from the 1997/1998 season.
Between 1997 and 2000, the top-ranked teams in the Herceg-Bosna League played against the top-ranked teams in the Bosnian league for the starting places in the UEFA competitions.
