The handball club 92 Brandenburg (also handball club Brandenburger Adler ) was a handball club from the city of Brandenburg an der Havel .

history

The HV 92 Brandenburg was founded in 1992 as a spin-off from the former GDR upper and handball Bundesliga club BSV Stahl Brandenburg . In the 1992/93 season the club played in the North Season of the 2nd Handball Bundesliga . The club came in fourth (out of fourteen) place. In the 1993/94 season Brandenburg was penultimate and relegated. As a regional league, the club was renamed HV Brandenburger Adler in December 1994. In 1996 this again joined the predecessor association renamed BSV Brandenburg.
