HaTzofe

HaTzofe ( Hebrew הַצּוֹפֶה ha-Zōfeh , German 'The Observer' ) was a Hebrew daily newspaper that was published in Israel . In April 2007, daily production was reduced to weekly. According to the newspaper's website, it is Zionist , nationalist and religious. It is also claimed that the newspaper is the only right-wing daily newspaper in Israel that can be attributed to religious Zionism. The newspaper was associated with the Misrachi movement and was considered a supporter of the Israeli Mafdal party .

In May 2003 Shlomo Ben-Tzvi bought the newspaper and in 2004 the weekly Makor Rishon newspaper . On April 25, 2007, HaTzofe stopped daily production. Since then, the newspaper has only been published as a weekly supplement in the Makor Rishon newspaper . This, however, now appeared daily. The last HaTzofe issue was published on December 26, 2008.
