Habib ibn Salim ar-Raʿi

Abu Halim Habib ibn Salim ar-Raʿi ( Arabic أبو هلم حبيب بن سالم الراعي, DMG Abū Halim Ḥabīb b. Sālim ar-Rāʿī ) was one of the most important Sufis ( Islamic mystics ) in the 7th century .

After Uwais al-Qarani and Salmān al-Fārisī, he took over the task of teaching the followers of Uwaisi in the field of the internal knowledge of Islam.

In the chronology of the Oveyssi masters ( Maktab Tarighat Oveyssi Shahmaghsoudi ) he is in third place after Uwais al-Qarani and Salmān al-Fārisī.
