Habitual
Habitual (also: Habitualis , Habituell , Habituativ ) describes a type of action or an aspect of the verb that describes a habitual action. The habitual can be expressed in different ways, e.g. B. through an auxiliary verb or a special verb form:
- German: he used to go
- English: he used to go "he usually / normally"
- Latin: fact -it -are "to do ordinary, to operate commercially"
- Hausa : ya kàn tàfi "he goes / usually went"
The habitual can be understood as a subcategory of the durative type of action or the imperfect (unfinished) aspect .
In medical terminology , habitual means "recurring" or "habitual".
