Haddien is a place in the municipality of Wangerland in Lower Saxony . It is located between Waddewarden and Hooksiel on the L 812 . The place has about 60 inhabitants.

history

The place became known through archaeological finds, the so-called depot find from Haddien , a jewelry ensemble from the 14th century , which is exhibited in the Archaeological Museum Hamburg (Helms Museum).

Haddien is on a mound was built. The older preserved houses in the village are around 150 to 200 years old. There are 16 houses in Haddien.
