‣ Topic  overview

A Hafada piercing (also known as scrotal ) is a piercing in the skin of the scrotum . It is usually not pierced very deeply, and although it is a surface piercing, the risk of it growing out is very small due to the flexibility of the skin in this area.

history

Hafada piercings are said to have been performed as a ritual on adolescent young men in the Middle East. However, there is no evidence to support this theory.

Implementation and healing

As with other piercings, the skin area to be pierced is first disinfected . Then the puncture and puncture points are marked, fixed with a piercing clamp and pierced with a special needle . As a jewelry insert either one can captive bead ring or barbell can be used. Healing is relatively straightforward and usually takes between six and eight weeks.

Variations

Scrotal ladder

Several Hafada piercings, which are attached in a row or otherwise symmetrically and resemble the rungs of a ladder, are known as scrotal ladder . Like many other piercings, Hafada piercings can be carefully widened .

The lorum is pricked at the point between the penis shaft and scrotum and can therefore also be viewed as a variation of the frenulum piercing . The term is a suitcase word made up of "low" and "frenum".
