Hagen is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .
location
The formerly independent town of Hagen is located on Bundesstrasse 56 across from Oberste Zeit . Former neighboring towns were Komp in the south and Weesbach in the north.
history
The place name comes from Hag and means hedge.
In 1888 there were eight residents in two houses.
In 1910 only the farmer and wheelwright August Klein lived here .
The settlement belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
