Komp is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

The formerly independent town of Komp is located in the south of Seelscheid on federal road 56 between Unterste Zeit and Oberste Zeit .
history
In 1845 the farm had ten Catholic residents in three houses. In 1888 there were nine residents in three houses.
In 1910 the families Schlosser Julius Linden, butcher August Müller and the industrialist widow Peter Josef Hirtsiefer lived in Komp .
The settlement belonged to the community of Seelscheid until 1969.
