A play by Feridun Zaimoglu and Günter Senkel is half as wild . It had its first performance on June 11, 2004 under the direction of Annette Pullen at the Kiel Theater .

action

The piece presents a confused dance in which eight people are involved. Relationships and past relationships play a role in this. The mother's new friend is also the daughter's young admirer, the Finnish business traveler, from whom the mother buys a nice accessory, is the romantic mobile phone flirt, to whom the daughter owes the most beautiful declaration of love that she has ever received, but she doesn't know at all that it came from him. Random and not random encounters of all people run through the piece in ever new constellations, until finally a little luck jumps out for everyone involved.

Reviews

Die Welt dedicated a review to Halb so wild and its premiere under the title On the Way to True Love on June 14, 2004: one saw the everyday relationship madness "taken to the absurd and comic point". "Elements from soap, western, comic, absurd theater and musical", which the "laconic-comical-longing" theatrical text had ready, formed "steep templates for (a) lively ensemble".
