The Half Dome Nunatak (English for half- dome nunatak ) is a nunatak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains, it rises 3 km south of the Cobham Range at the mouth of the Lucy Glacier and the Nimrod Glacier .
Scientists from a 1961 to 1962 campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it descriptive. The nunatak is characterized by a rounded shape on one side and abruptly sloping cliffs on the other.
