Halla Signý Kristjánsdóttir

Halla Signý Kristjánsdóttir (born May 1, 1964 in Flateyri ) is an Icelandic politician of the Progress Party .

Life

Halla Signý Kristjánsdóttir holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Bifröst and a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Iceland . Among other things, she worked as a farmer on the Kirkjuból farm in Bjarnardalur, Önundarfjörður . From 2005 to 2018 she was the financial administrator of Bolungarvík Municipality .

In the parliamentary elections on October 28, 2017 , Halla Signý was elected as the Progress Party's candidate for the Northwestern constituency in the Icelandic parliament Althing . As of January 2019, she is a member of the parliamentary committees for commercial affairs and welfare.
