The indoor cycling world championship in 1958 took place from August 2nd to 3rd, 1958 in Karl-Marx-Stadt in the GDR . There were competitions in bike ball and artificial cycling . The world championships took place as part of a "Festival Week of Cycling", which ended on August 10th in Leipzig with the competition of amateur long-term cyclists. The competitions were held in the culture house of the Niles Werke Karl-Marx-Stadt (large lathe construction "May 8").
