Hama Higa
Hama Higa ( Japanese 浜 比 嘉 ; * 1663 in Hamahiga , Kingdom of Ryūkyū (today part of Uruma , Okinawa Prefecture ); † 1738 ) was one of the first martial arts experts in karate and Kobudo .
Hama Higa already knew a method of dealing with the Sai and death in 1682 . He has lived a life which is an example of Bunbu Ryodo - the twofold way of the sword and the brush.
