Hamburg Honorary Medal
The Hamburg Honorary Medal has been awarded by the Hamburg Senate since 2013 . In contrast to the medal for faithful work in the service of the people , which is also awarded for volunteer work, it goes to helpers in disaster control for their readiness for action.
The medal is awarded in bronze, silver and gold, depending on the duration of the involvement in civil protection.
