Hana El-Hebshi , also Hana Al Hebshi , Arabic هناء الحبشي(* 1985 in Libya ) is a Libyan architect and activist.

El-Hebshi was born in Libya around 1985, her father worked in the Libyan Air Force. El-Hebshi studied architecture and then worked as an architect in the Libyan capital Tripoli.

She became politically active for the first time during the Libyan Revolution . She started out as an internet journalist to report on the siege of Tropolis. Among other things, she advised NATO on the preparation of air strikes, kept in contact with the Arab television station Al-Jazeera and wrote about violent crimes by Gaddafi's troops and the general suffering of the civilian population during the Libyan civil war . She used the pseudonym "Numidia" for her activities and reports on the Internet, a reference to the country's Berber heritage.

For her documentation of the Libyan civil war, El-Hebshi received the “ International Women of Courage Award ” from the US Department of Defense in 2012 . She received the award in Washington in a ceremony with then US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama .
