history

The Hanauer Lust treasure trove is located on the Vorderen Fastenberg and was muted in the Crucis quarter (July 1st to October 1st) 1710. The associated tunnel was cut at 735 m above sea level and driven 380 m. In the quarter of Trinity 1712 the mine struck gold and by the quarter of Crucis 1718 brought out 80 marks 12 lot 1 quentchen (18.9 kg) silver. It built on the building of St. Christoph , muted on iron in 1628 , who was accepted again in 1681 as Großer Christoph with Dresdner Stolln as a silver mine and had also fallen into the mountain free again. The Schaller mine and its tunnel, which were first muted in 1680 and after which the Schallergasse was named in Johanngeorgenstadt , later belonged to it . Between 1771 and 1783 the Hanauer Lust treasure trove was operated by the Dutch trade union Concordia res parvae Crescunt . When mining came to a complete standstill at the end of the 19th century, the Hanauer Lust hat house was expanded into a residential building. The building still has this function today. The tunnel was examined at the end of the 1940s by the geological department of Object 01 of Wismut AG . However, no viable uranium mineralization was found.
