Dresdner Stolln is a disused mine in the Johanngeorgenstädter mining district in the Saxon Ore Mountains .

history

The Dresdner Stolln and the associated St. Christoph iron stone mine were added in 1628, but fell back into the open after a short time due to the lack of ore fragments . He was muted on June 7, 1679 by Abraham Kohl from Dresden as Großer Christoph with Dresdner Tiefer Erbstolln . In 1681 a treasure trove and six upper dimensions were awarded and operated by a trade union . The tunnel was driven about 380 meters into the Vorderen Fastenberg above the Mühlgraben, which was derived from the Breitenbach and which later operated the tin mill, the oldest building in Johanngeorgenstadt . In doing so, however, no usable ores were found, so that the independent mining operations were stopped by 1710 at the latest. In that year, the newly opened Hanauer Lust mine took over the mine field of the Dresden mine.

The Dresdner Tief Erbstolln was used as a water solution tunnel, whereby a connection to the New Brotherhood was established via a hacking over .

The tunnel was examined at the end of the 1940s by the Geological Department of Object 01 of Wismut AG . Uranium mineralization worthy of construction was not found.

Remains of the Stollnmundloch and the hut house of the Dresdner Stolln have been preserved to this day at the confluence of Jugelstrasse and Karlsbader Strasse.
