Towel origami

Towel origami is the art of folding towels . It developed from the classic origami with paper and is mainly used for decoration purposes in hotels or in connection with gifts. There are many different folds, animal shapes are often made (for example, towel swans). The folded works of art are also known as towel sculptures. In Japan, folded bath towels under the name Furoshiki have been used as carrier bags and later gift packaging, which sometimes uses the same folding techniques.
