Hanna Marcussen (2013)

Hanna Elise Marcussen (born September 4, 1977 ) is a Norwegian politician from Miljøpartiet De Grønne (MDG). Since 2015 she has been a member of the Oslo city government, so-called Byråd , where she is responsible for urban development.

Life

Marcussen grew up on the island of Sandøya in the municipality of Tvedestrand . From 2002 to 2009 she studied Prehistory and Protohistory at the University of Oslo and graduated with a master's degree .

From 2008 to 2014 she was the national spokesperson for her party. In the parliamentary elections in 2009 , she was her party's top candidate for the Oslo constituency, but her party did not move into the Storting parliament . From 2014 to 2015 she worked as a manager at the environmental consultancy Bergfald Miljørådgivere .

Byråd in Oslo

After the local elections in autumn 2015, she became a member of the Oslo city government, the Oslo Byråd. Your area of responsibility includes the areas of urban development , urban planning , building regulations and development projects. She kept the post after the local elections in September 2019. When Lan Marie Nguyen Berg was on sick leave for a long time at the end of 2019, Marcussen also temporarily took over her environment and transport department.

Bias

Since two of Marcussen's siblings were working in architecture firms when they took office in 2015, she was classified as biased in some areas and her party colleague Berg took over these areas of responsibility. Marcussen, however, took over responsibility for the Oslo planning and building authority Plan- og bygningsetaten , which should have been regarded as derived bias due to Marcussen's bias. However, this bias was only determined in autumn 2018 and an external report was published in August 2020 according to which two of the authority's 262 decisions were invalid.
