Hanne Løye

Hanne Løye (born November 19, 1932 in Randers ) is a Danish actress.

Career

Hanne Løye was born in Randers, but grew up in Tarm in West Jutland from 1944 , where her father was a pharmacist. There she graduated from Vestjysk Gymnasium and then studied theater studies at the University of Copenhagen . From 1956 to 1959 she completed her acting training at the Drama School of the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, where she made her stage debut on September 2, 1957. Afterwards she was engaged at the Odense Teater from 1959 to 1964 , after which she returned to Copenhagen and played at the ABC Teatret , the Folketeatret or the Gladsaxe Teater , among others .

She was rarely seen in film and television. In some of the Olsen Gang films , she appeared as a supporting actress, usually as a stressed-out secretary. She had her only leading role in 1971 in the Norwegian film Tre ("Three"). She also appeared in radio plays.

From 1956 until his death in 1988 Løye was married to the stage director Palle Skibelund .
