Hanne Seelmann-Holzmann
Hanne Seelmann-Holzmann (* 1956 in Bamberg ) is a German sociologist . She is a management consultant in the field of intercultural management Asia and has written non-fiction books on the subject of intercultural competence . She developed the Cultural Intelligence Instrument as a management and control instrument for international work.
Life
From 1976 to 1981 she studied sociology and economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . The doctorate took place with Joachim Matthes on the subject of "Astrology and rationality patterns". Afterwards she worked in the research projects directed by Matthes on the cultural comparison between Asia and Europe. Since 1994 she has been the owner of Dr. Seelmann Consultants and since 2009 European ambassador for women entrepreneurs. She is also a visiting author at Harvard Business Manager.
