Hannelore Bublitz

Hannelore Bublitz (born July 29, 1947 in Schleswig ) is a German sociologist . She taught as a professor at the University of Paderborn .

Life

Bublitz studied sociology, philosophy and psychoanalysis at the Universities of Heidelberg and Frankfurt am Main . In 1979 she received her doctorate at the FU Berlin , and in 1984 she completed her habilitation at the RWTH Aachen . From 1992 to 2012 she was Professor of General Sociology, Social Sciences and Social Philosophy at the University of Paderborn ; from 2012 to 2017 she worked at the same chair as senior professor.

Her main areas of work are:

  • Dynamics of self-regulation and normalization in modern societies
  • Research on the intertwining of social techniques and economies in mass culture
  • Body, Gender and Self Techniques
