Hannelore Grimm (psychologist)

Hannelore Grimm (* 1940 in Stuttgart ) is a German psychologist. She was a professor of general and developmental psychology at Bielefeld University .

biography

Hannelore Grimm graduated from high school in Göppingen ; studied psychology at the University of Heidelberg . In 1971 she did her PhD with minor subjects in linguistics and psychiatry . In 1977 she completed her habilitation in Heidelberg. She then had a Heisenberg grant and was a research assistant. From 1985 to 2004 she was Professor of Psychology at Bielefeld University. Her main research areas are:

  • Theory and practice of normal and pathological language development
  • Language development diagnostics and language support
