Hannoverscher Pfarrverein
The Hannoversche Pfarrverein is the official association and representation of the interests of the pastors in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Schaumburg-Lippe . In 2015 the association had 1,600 members and maintains an office in Landesbergen .
tasks
The association advises and supports its members in various questions, especially in questions of parish law. He represents the members vis-à-vis the church administration in matters of official housing law, regulations on the scope of work, visitation regulations, residence requirements, salary and supply law. He critically accompanies the discussions in the regional churches of Hanover and Schaumburg-Lippe, for example on the question of personnel development or the development of the mission statement. He helps clarify legal questions and problems. The association maintains a social service that primarily looks after young professionals and helps members in need with numerous services and offers (e.g. study grants, retirement apartments, discounted insurance tariffs, etc.).
Memberships / cooperation partners
The parish association is a member of the parish association, the amalgamation of all parish associations in Germany, and it maintains a partnership with the parish association of the regional church of Saxony . He cooperates closely with the pastors committee of the Ev.-luth. Regional Church of Hanover.
