Hanns-Joachim Riedel

Hanns-Joachim Riedel (born May 1, 1910 in Hamm ; † after 1976) was a German engineer. He is a pioneer in the field of hard coal power generation.

Life

Riedel studied engineering and graduated with a diploma. Until 1965 he was a deputy, then a full board member of the mining company Hibernia AG in Herne. He became chairman of the board of the VEBA Kraftwerke Ruhr AG (VKR) and 1974 board member of the VEBA . In 1976 he retired.
