Hanover is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario , in southern Gray County .
There are many factories and farms there, which are the second most important jobs for the residents. In 2016, 7,688 people lived there.
There are three public schools: Dawnview Public School , James A. Magee Community School, and Holy Family Catholic School . There is a high school, the John Diefenbaker Secondary School , which is attended by 800 students from Hanover and neighboring cities.
