The Hanriot HD.14 was a French military training aircraft that was built in large numbers. The Aéronautique Militaire alone had 1925 copies. A total of around 2100 machines in eleven different versions were built between 1922 and 1928.

construction

The wings of the double-decker were constructed in a conventional rib-spar design. Teacher and student sat one behind the other. The chassis was designed to be particularly stable for school use. Early versions had four wheels and two runners that were pulled forward to prevent rollover. In 1922 an improved version was worked on, which came out as HD.14 ter . In addition to the license samples in Poland (245 pieces) and Japan (145), the HD.14 was also delivered to other countries.
