reception

Although Geißler mainly acquired his knowledge self-taught and through trial and error, the MDR today regards him as the German “bread pope” and now also advises professional bakers. The historian Josef Matzerath criticized in articles on library science the lack of cookbooks in public libraries. This is a topic of great social importance. Lutz Geißler's Plötzblog illustrates that this is also being dealt with in the “ new media ” .
