Hans-Christian Sachse

Hans-Christian Sachse (* 1. April 1947 in Dessau ) is a German politician of the SPD . He was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 2002 and from 2003 to the state elections in 2006 .

Life

After graduating from school in 1963, Sachse began a three-year apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic. He graduated in 1971 as an engineer for electrical power systems and in 1981 as a qualified engineer for electrical engineering . Between 1971 and his entry into the state parliament in 1994, Sachse worked as a system planner for power supply networks in the (from 1990 former) districts of Leipzig and Halle . In 2003, Sachse worked in the company organization at Dessauer Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (DVV). Sachse is the deputy chairman of the AWO Saxony-Anhalt

Sachse is married and has one child.

politics

Sachse joined the Social Democratic Party in the GDR (SDP) in January 1990 and was a member of the Dessau City Council from 1990 to 2007. He was a member of the state parliament from 1994 until the state elections in 2002 and replaced Jürgen Heyer in December 2003 . Here he represented the constituency of Dessau I. Sachse was a member of the Committee for Environment and the Committee for Housing, Urban Development and Transport, of which he was chairman from 1998 to 2002.

In the state elections on March 26, 2006, Sachse was defeated by the CDU candidate Jens Kolze (32.9%) with 21.3% .
