Hans Fischer test

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hans-Fischer-Test is a competition for the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Gymnastics Festival in Freyburg an der Unstrut. The Hans Fischer test was designed to commemorate the exceptional athlete Hans Fischer , who achieved international fame as an old gymnast and, with his mission, carried on a large part of Jahn's ideals as a model for future generations.

The exercises for the Hans Fischer test

For the Hans Fischer test, five typical exercises from Hans Fischer's training program were included, which he regularly completed at the age of 80+. The idea is to create a program that is as appealing as possible and that attracts many interested parties. The specialty is that everyone - regardless of age group or gender - can take this test. While the exercises "headstand marathon" or the "fly" are still relatively easy to complete, the "fisherman's role", the "test of courage" or the "strength exercise" make it clear what achievements Hans Fischer achieves in old age with the help of discipline and Willpower still yielded.

The eternal leaderboard

Those who have successfully completed the exercises in the Hans Fischer test will be included in the all-time list of the best in addition to being honored with a certificate. This list is updated annually and offers participants the opportunity to improve their ranking every year through continuous physical exercise.

The results of the eternal best list are published in full on the Hans Fischer test homepage (see link below). It is also noteworthy that the youngest participant was just two years old. The oldest participant was 72 years old.
