Hans-Georg Brinkrolf (born February 25, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The defender Hans-Georg Brinkrolf began his career at Westfalia Neuenkirchen and later moved to DJK Gütersloh , with whom he qualified in 1974 for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga . He made his second division debut on August 21, 1974 in the 2-1 defeat of Gütersloher at TSR Olympia Wilhelmshaven . In 1976 he was relegated with the Güterslohern and two years later he and his team qualified for the newly created Oberliga Westfalen . Brinkrolf, however, moved to the second division VfL Osnabrück , where he was rarely used. In the summer of 1980 he left Osnabrück for FC Gütersloh , where he was under contract in the 1980/81 and 1986/87 seasons . Brinkrolf played a total of 79 second division games, 58 of them for Gütersloh and 21 for Osnabrück. He didn't score any goals. From 1990 to 1992 he was a player-coach at Grün-Weiß Langenberg .
