Hans-Joachim "Hanjo" Weller (born July 2, 1946 in Kiel ) is a former German football player .
career
Weller's first stops were Holstein Kiel and Göttingen 05 . Since 1970 he has played for Hannover 96 , TSV 1860 Munich and VfB Stuttgart . He played a total of 91 Bundesliga games and 37 second division games, scoring eleven and 16 goals respectively.
In 1976 Weller went to Switzerland for FC Zurich , with whom he made it to the semi-finals of the European Cup . This was followed by further stations u. a. at Neuchâtel Xamax and FC Winterthur .
His son Thomas is also a professional soccer player.
