Hans-Peter Meier-Dallach

Hans-Peter Meier-Dallach (born October 18, 1944 in Quarten , Switzerland ) is a Swiss cultural sociologist . He is the founder of the institute cultur prospectiv and of the World Drives Association, an international network, and is a board member of the World Society Foundation in Zurich / Berlin.

Life

After studying sociology with Peter Heintz at the University of Zurich, Hans-Peter Meier-Dallach headed the joint project “The cultural behavior of the population, contrasts, diversity and similarities” ( microcensus BfS 88 and National Fund NFP21) in the 1980s . He has carried out numerous research projects in the areas of regions, cities and culture with a view to global social processes and together with international project partnerships, and has written various publications, according to isola elvetica.
