The IB University for Health and Social Affairs is a state-recognized private university that opened in the 2007/08 winter semester. The head office is in Berlin . Here courses of the two faculties of health sciences as well as cultural and social sciences are offered. The university is represented nationwide with locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. Further locations are being planned.

The educational and research mandate is to observe society with a focus on sociological, health policy developments and on aspects of psycho-social health. The profile lies in the academization of the health professions, especially the therapy professions. The courses are developed together with clinics, doctors, professional associations and educational policy and can be completed in various forms of study: full-time, alongside training or part-time. In this way, the IB University promotes the permeability between vocational and university education. Your academic degrees are recognized both internationally and for admission to a master's degree.

The IB University is the academic branch of the International Federation , which is one of the major service providers in youth, social and educational work in Germany with its registered association, companies and holdings in 300 locations.
