The Touro College Berlin is a state-recognized since 2006 and since November 9, 2012 a private university accredited by the Science Council in Germany, based in Berlin . The language of instruction is English . It is an independent part of the Jewish-American Touro university network .
history
In October 2003, the Touro College Berlin started teaching as an offshoot of the American university on the Am Rupenhorn campus . The university has been officially recognized since 2006. In November 2012, the college received five-year institutional accreditation from the Science Council .
courses
The college offers German and American degrees at the same time. The following German academic degrees are awarded:
- Bachelor of Science for Management
- Bachelor of Arts for the Psychology course
- Master of Arts in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance. The only course of its kind in Germany (events mainly in German)
The courses with an American degree are:
- Bachelor in Science for Management,
- Bachelor of Arts for the Psychology course,
- Master of Arts for the Holocaust Communication and Tolerance course,
- Master of Business Administration
