Touro College

The Touro College is a Jewish-American university network , which in 1970 by Bernard Lander was founded. The headquarters are in Manhattan ( New York City ).

history

The first Touro College was founded in 1970 by Bernard Lander as a liberal arts college in Manhattan and named after Rabbi Isaac Touro and his son Judah . Today there are 25 study locations in New York and California, among others, and colleges in Russia and Israel . In October 2003, the Touro College Berlin began teaching in Germany as an offshoot of the American university on the Am Rupenhorn campus . This university has been officially recognized since 2007.
