The Akkon Hochschule für Humanwissenschaften is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences founded in 2009 and based in Berlin . It offers bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of nursing and medicine, humanitarian aid and civil protection, as well as education and social affairs. The carrier is the Akkon-Hochschule non-profit GmbH , which was brought into being by the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe . It can be studied full-time, as well as training or part-time. The advanced clinical nursing courses are offered in cooperation with the Charite .
