Hans Dieter Lüke

Hans Dieter Lüke (born April 7, 1935 in Bielefeld ; † May 20, 2005 in Aachen ) was a German electrical engineer and university professor in the fields of communications engineering and signal theory .

Hans Dieter Lüke received his doctorate in 1964 with the subject of the synthesis of orthogonal signal alphabets under Volker Aschoff at RWTH Aachen University . This was followed in 1972 by the full professorship and head of the Institute for Electrical Communication Technology at RWTH Aachen University. As part of his university work, he has supervised over 50 doctoral students and several post-doctoral degrees. One of his main work is the textbook signal transmission , which was published posthumously in the 12th edition as of 2014 and is still being looked after by Jens-Rainer Ohm .
