Hans Eck

Hans Eck (born August 20, 1925 in Harburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1967 to 1970 he was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament .

Life

After attending elementary school, Eck first switched to secondary school and later to upper secondary school. Between 1943 and 1945 he participated in the Second World War and was seriously wounded twice. After 1945 he worked as a freelance journalist and was hired as an editor in 1949. Since 1957 Eck was chairman of the Harburg district of the Lower Saxony Football Association. He also became chairman of the Gymnastics and Sports Association in the Harburg district in 1964. In the administrative district of Lüneburg he was the deputy chairman of the football association.

Eck was a long-time member of the CDU, which he joined in 1966. He was a member of the CDU sports council in Lower Saxony and deputy chairman of the CDU sports council in the Lüneburg administrative region.

Eck became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the 6th electoral term from June 6, 1967 to June 20, 1970. He was a member of the CDU parliamentary group only until January 24, 1970. After that he was a non-attached member of the state parliament.
