Hans Girod

Hans Girod (* 1937 ) is a German lawyer and author .

Life

Girod received his doctorate in 1975. jur., 1983 he completed his habilitation. Until 1994 Girod was a lecturer for special criminalistics at the Humboldt University in Berlin . His areas of work were sexual and violent crimes, identification of unknown dead, interdisciplinary problems in somatic forensic medicine and forensic psychiatry . As an author, he has since become known for books on spectacular murder cases from the GDR .
