Hans Hirter

Hans Hirter (* 1948 ) is a Swiss political scientist .

Hans Hirter did his doctorate in 1983 on labor disputes in Switzerland under Erich Gruner . From 1984 to 2011 he was head of the Swiss Politics Yearbook / Année Politique Suisse . Until 2011 he was a lecturer at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Bern .

Hans Hirter is known for his election analysis . In the Berner Zeitung he was characterized as: "Unexcited, down-to-earth political filer of the old school with immense experience."
