Hans Ludewig

Hans Alexander Ludewig (born April 29, 1875 in Grumbach , District Headquarters Dresden ; † after 1934) was a German manager in the chemical industry.

Life

Hans Ludewig attended Realgymnasium and then studied chemistry at the Technical University of Dresden , where he joined the Polyhymnia Academic Association , which later became the Corps Altsachsen . After completing his studies as a chemist and doctorate as Dr. phil. he joined the chemical factory v. Heyden and was subsequently operations manager in the two plants in Radebeul and Weißig. In 1923, he became the company's technical director alongside Wilhelm Lax in 1923. After Wilhelm Lax left the company, he was responsible for the management of all manufacturing companies on the board since 1932 .

Ludewig was a board member of Section II of the trade association for the chemical industry . As a participant in the First World War , he was awarded the Iron Cross II and I Class, the Albrecht Order II Class with Swords and the Saxon Order of Merit with Swords.
