Wilhelm Lax

Richard Wilhelm Lax (born December 21, 1874 in Dresden , † August 28, 1955 in Radebeul ) was a German manager in the chemical industry.

Life

Wilhelm Lax studied chemistry at the Technical University of Dresden , where he joined the Corps Teutonia. After completing his studies with the Diplom-Chemiker-exam and promotion to Dr.-Ing. In 1899 he joined the chemical factory v. Heyden , where he became an authorized signatory and senior works manager at the Radebeul factory. In April 1919 he was appointed member of the board and technical director. He was also Vice President of Heyden Chemical Corporation in New York from 1926 . In June 1932 he resigned from the board.

Lax was married and had three children.
