Hans Paul Tribolet

Hans Paul Tribolet ( pseudonym : Hans Rych ; * July 6, 1884 in Tschugg ; † July 5, 1969 in Bern ) was a Swiss dialect writer and Bernese dialect radio pioneer.

Life

After receiving his doctorate in philology in 1918 , Tribolet was secretary or editor-in-chief of the German edition of the Historisch-Biographisches Lexikon der Schweiz from 1920 to 1934 ; from 1927 he made a career at Radio Bern .

Tribolet wrote travelogues, poems and novels and from 1935 was only a radio writer . As Hans Rych , he wrote audio series such as Bluemete Trögli , Radiofestspiele and Mundarthörspiele; he is considered the "creator of Bernese dialect programs". In 1964 he received the City of Bern's Literature Prize . His estate is in the Bern Burger Library .
