Hans Robert Mehlig
Hans Robert Mehlig (born April 28, 1934 in Hamburg ) is a German Slavist .
Hans Robert Mehlig studied philosophy and German at the Universities of Göttingen and Münster and then went on to study Slavic studies. After receiving his doctorate in 1968, he initially worked as an assistant and then worked as Scientific Director at Kiel University until his retirement in 1999 .
Mehlig has made a name for himself primarily as a researcher of the Russian verbal aspect , and his contributions to this area have also received a lot of international attention.
