Harald Lenßen

Harald Lenßen (* 1960 ) is a CDU local politician and has been the mayor of Neukirchen-Vluyn since 2009 .

Life

Lenßen is a savings bank economist and was head of the Vluyn branch of the Sparkasse am Niederrhein until his election as mayor.

He has been a member of the CDU since 1995. From 1996 he was a knowledgeable citizen and since 2002 a councilor and from 1996 to 2006 deputy party chairman. In the local elections on September 30, 2009 he was elected to the office of mayor with 45.34% of the votes, where he prevailed against the SPD candidate Jochen Gottke (40.10%).

Lenßen is married and has two children.
